Museum House

The kitchen is the heart of the home, so when a private client approached Studio 103 to give their period house in Carlton a facelift, we took inspiration from the Hamptons style to create an elegant and welcoming family hub with enduring appeal.

Our brief was to open up the kitchen and living zones and modernise the bathrooms, while maintaining the charm of the original home.
We created our client’s ‘dream kitchen’ with clever spatial planning that improved the flow to the outdoor living zone, and classic Hamptons-inspired finishes, pendant lighting and joinery that integrated top-of-the-line appliances. The bathrooms were updated with a practical layout and a contemporary combination of Carrara marble and bespoke hexagonal tiles, plus new tapware and feature lighting.

Custom storage solutions, including a streamlined European laundry, capped off a remarkable transformation for this modern family home.
