One of Australia’s leading owner operated commercial real estate agency – Stonebridge, acquired their new office space joining South Yarra’s most desired commercial address, 627 Chapel Street – Goldfield’s house. Studio 103 were then engaged to create an elevated workplace experience for their staff.
Catering for up to 40 staff, the space is seamless from the moment you enter. Instead of a formal reception, the arrival area is designed with curved seating nooks to allow for flexibility, client greetings, casual meetings, and fleeting conversations.
Prominent architectural elements of curved ceilings and walls function as guided pathways into formal and informal work areas, meeting rooms and encourage creativity through the collaboration and breakout spaces.
The central workstation hub was strategically placed along the perimeter glazing, maximizing natural light and providing staff with invigorating views of lush greenery. This environment prioritises the well-being and preferences of the team, creating a healthy workspace.
The color palette harmoniously blends warm walnut timbers, polished concrete floors, and textured carpets, while black aluminum-framed glass partitions add an urban touch. Olive-green velvet armchairs, scattered throughout the space, inspire the breakout area’s ceiling color. The kitchen’s design is versatile, accommodating casual meetings, seamless work points, and company-wide town hall gatherings.
