ID_Corp, one of Australia’s leading residential developers recently acquired a floor space of 1000m2 at 484 St Kilda Road Melbourne. Overlooking the stunning views of Albert Park Lake, Studio 103 were engaged to design their workplace and consolidate three different company brands within the one floor plate.
Upon arrival, you are captured by the prestigious Port Phillip bay view whilst being surrounded by sinuous curves and protruding dome timber battens that provide a residential feel. The overall architectural detail of the timber and aluminium battens creates continuity and flow throughout the front of house transition spaces as you make your way to the meeting rooms.
The open plan work environment with surrounding glazed office fronts allows connectivity & visibility amongst staff with a mixture of enclosed meeting rooms. In addition, the bespoke custom round door handles accentuate the facades of these spaces.
Overall, the palette is a mixture of ochre and earthy tones that are expressed through the feature rugs, textured wallpaper, soft sheer curtains, velvet upholstery and specialised lighting, which further influence the residential aesthetic for this space.
