Bluefin

Bluefin, a Sydney based recruitment company set out on a venture to expand their Melbourne office due to a result of their company’s recent growth. Studio 103 was engaged from the beginning to assist Bluefin narrow down the options for the buildings they were considering for their new office space. Through a process of elimination and workshop studies, we landed on 114 William Street as the space that would best suit Bluefin’s current and future growth plans.

The blue accents throughout the space were inspired by Bluefin’s love of the ocean. This then was complimented further with architecturally curved walls that spoke to the fluidity of the ocean waves, which allowed a seamless flow throughout the space.

The design of this space was carefully formed to entice Bluefin’s staff to return to the workplace following an extended period of working from home and ensure they felt welcomed, stimulated, and excited to be back in the workplace. The aim was to achieve a good balance between a modern “homely” fitout while maintaining a level of their corporate brand identity that still speaks to the company’s dynamic and collaborative nature.
